2012 LGMA Management Challenge

The 2012 LGMA Management Challenge has commenced and 111 council teams from across Australia and New Zealand will be coming together to participate in this annual development program. The theme for this year's Challenge is 'The Temperature is Rising'.

The Centre will be facilitating the NSW Regional Challenge again this year, with 30 teams around NSW participating over the next four days.

Team Building and Leadership Program

The Team Building and Leadership program is designed for local government professionals who are participating in the LGMA Management Challenge as a team member or mentor. This experiential program offers students the opportunity to enhance their own leadership capabilities and also provide support and encouragement to others.  

It requires students to build and demonstrate team leadership skills and strategies through the Local Government Managers Australia (LGMA) Management Challenge. The subject creates a platform for students to build on existing action learning and sets a foundation that identifies and develops personal leadership capabilities.
